Not long after Yoli and I moved to Cape Town I spotted an ad for the Cape Town School of Photography. What caught my eye was that (unlike the course I’d taken in 2007), this was entirely around the art of the image and none of the technical aspects of operating a camera or processing images which I already knew. The course did not disappoint in terms of inspiration and understanding of the form. A handful of the images created during this period are displayed here.
